- You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account unless caused by our own security failure.

- You must not use another customer’s account without authorization.
- You agree to promptly update your account if your email address, phone number, billing details, property access details, or appointment instructions change.
- We may disable, restrict, or delete accounts that contain false information, duplicate records, abuse, unpaid balances, suspicious activity, or security concerns.
-
Bookings and Scheduling
Bookings may be requested through our website, by phone, by text message, by email, in person, or through any other method we make available.- A booking request is not guaranteed until it has been accepted or confirmed by us.
- Appointment times are scheduled in good faith, but may be affected by weather, traffic, previous jobs, staffing, equipment issues, safety concerns, or other delays outside our reasonable control.
- We may reschedule, refuse, pause, or cancel work if conditions are unsafe, unsuitable, inaccurate, inaccessible, or materially different from the information provided when the booking was made.
- You agree to provide accurate property details, including the property type, number of windows, building height, access restrictions, parking requirements, pets, alarms, gate codes, locked areas, strata or condo rules, and any known hazards.
- If you book on behalf of another person, business, tenant, landlord, condo board, strata, property manager, or organization, you confirm that you have authority to do so.
- You are responsible for ensuring we have permission to enter the property, access the work areas, and perform the requested services.
-
Estimates, Quotes, and Pricing
Any estimate, quote, online price, package price, or starting price is based on the information available to us at the time.- Prices may change if the property, window count, glass condition, access requirements, building height, safety requirements, contamination, construction debris, mineral buildup, paint, silicone, adhesive, staining, screen condition, track condition, or service scope differs from what was described.
- Online calculators, package prices, promotional prices, and automated estimates are not final unless confirmed by us.
- We may charge additional fees for extra windows, high or difficult access, post-construction cleanup, hard water removal, paint removal, screen cleaning, track detailing, heavy buildup, special equipment, parking, travel, waiting time, missed access, or other work outside the original scope.
- We will make reasonable efforts to notify you before performing additional chargeable work.
- Taxes, fees, discounts, coupons, deposits, tips, and other adjustments may be shown separately on estimates, invoices, checkout pages, or receipts.
-
Customer Responsibilities Before We Arrive
To help us complete the work safely and efficiently, you agree to prepare the property before the appointment.- Move furniture, fragile items, plants, decorations, valuables, electronics, window coverings, and personal belongings away from windows and work areas.
- Unlock gates, doors, garages, yards, utility rooms, balconies, roof access points, or other areas needed for the service.
- Secure pets, children, tenants, guests, and other occupants away from work areas.
- Notify us of alarms, cameras, access codes, parking restrictions, fragile landscaping, sprinkler systems, ponds, pools, roof hazards, steep grades, damaged decks, loose railings, or any other safety concern.
- Tell us in advance about damaged glass, cracked panes, failed seals, loose frames, damaged screens, brittle tracks, old caulking, tinted glass, privacy film, security film, specialty coatings, lead paint concerns, or any surface that may require special handling.
- Ensure there is safe and reasonable access to the work areas, including parking and, where needed, water access.
-
Property Access and Authorization
By booking services, you confirm that:- You own the property, occupy the property, manage the property, or have permission from the owner or authorized decision-maker to request the services.
- You authorize us and our staff, contractors, or representatives to access the property as reasonably required to perform the booked services.
- You are responsible for notifying occupants, tenants, staff, security, concierge, property managers, condo boards, or other affected parties before we arrive.
- You are responsible for any charges, fines, towing fees, parking fees, access fees, or delays caused by missing or incorrect access instructions.
-
Safety, Weather, and Right to Refuse Work
We care about safety and reserve the right to refuse, stop, modify, or reschedule work where we believe conditions are unsafe, impractical, illegal, abusive, or unsuitable.- Unsafe conditions may include high winds, lightning, heavy rain, snow, ice, extreme heat or cold, smoke, poor air quality, unsafe ladders, unsafe roof access, unstable ground, aggressive animals, hazardous materials, broken glass, unsafe electrical conditions, hostile behaviour, or any other condition that creates an unreasonable risk.
- We may refuse work that requires unsafe heights, roof walking, unsafe ladder placement, removal of hazardous material, entry into unsafe spaces, or equipment we do not have available.
- We may reschedule outdoor work due to weather or seasonal conditions.
- We may refuse service to anyone who is abusive, threatening, discriminatory, intoxicated, unsafe, or otherwise inappropriate toward our staff, contractors, customers, or representatives.
-
Limitations of Window Cleaning Results
We make reasonable efforts to provide professional results, but some marks, stains, or defects may not be removable through standard window cleaning.- Standard cleaning may not remove hard water staining, mineral deposits, oxidation, paint, silicone, adhesive, stickers, scratches, etching, corrosion, construction debris, glass defects, seal failure, fogging between panes, or damage caused by age, weather, prior cleaning, chemicals, sprinklers, or construction.
- Some screens, tracks, frames, seals, caulking, films, coatings, and older windows may be fragile or already deteriorated.
- We are not responsible for pre-existing damage, failed seals, loose panes, brittle screens, cracked glass, worn tint, damaged coatings, oxidation, corrosion, or defects that become more visible after cleaning.
- Specialty glass, coated glass, tinted glass, privacy film, security film, stained glass, leaded glass, storm windows, heritage windows, and post-construction glass may require special service terms or may be declined.
-
Post-Construction and Specialty Cleaning
Post-construction cleaning, paint removal, silicone removal, adhesive removal, mineral removal, and other restorative work carry higher risk than regular maintenance cleaning.- You acknowledge that construction debris, stucco, concrete, mortar, paint, welding splatter, grinder dust, silicone, adhesive, and mineral buildup may permanently damage or scratch glass.
- We may recommend a test area before attempting specialty cleaning.
- We may decline specialty cleaning if we believe the risk of damage is too high.
- Unless otherwise agreed in writing, post-construction cleaning and restorative cleaning are not included in standard window cleaning prices.
-
Payments, Deposits, and Receipts
If you make a payment through Clean Those Windows or directly to us, you agree to the payment terms shown at checkout, on your invoice, in your estimate, or communicated to you in writing.- We may require a deposit, prepayment, card on file, or full payment before confirming or completing a booking.
- Deposits may be applied toward the final invoice and may be non-refundable where permitted by law and where stated at the time of booking.
- Final payment is due when the service is completed unless we have agreed otherwise in writing.
- Unpaid balances may result in late fees, collection costs, cancelled future bookings, account restrictions, or service refusal, where permitted by law.
- Prices are listed in Canadian dollars unless otherwise stated.
- Applicable taxes may be added to estimates, invoices, checkout totals, and receipts.
- We may store transaction records, invoices, receipts, service history, payment status, refund history, and tax records for accounting, customer service, legal, security, and business purposes.
- We do not intentionally store your full credit card number on our website. Card payments may be processed by third-party payment processors, and their own terms and privacy policies may apply.
- You are responsible for ensuring your billing information is accurate and that you are authorized to use the payment method provided.
-
Cancellations, Rescheduling, No-Shows, and Refunds
Our cancellation, rescheduling, and refund policies may be displayed during booking, on your estimate, on your invoice, or otherwise communicated in writing.- You agree to give us as much notice as reasonably possible if you need to cancel or reschedule.
- If you cancel or reschedule on short notice, fail to provide access, provide incorrect access information, are not ready for service, or prevent us from completing the work, we may charge a cancellation fee, missed appointment fee, waiting fee, travel fee, or retain a deposit where permitted by law.
- If we must reschedule because of weather, safety, staffing, equipment, vehicle issues, or circumstances outside our reasonable control, we will make reasonable efforts to offer a new appointment time.
- Refunds, if any, will normally be returned to the original payment method unless we choose another method.
- Nothing in these Terms limits any cancellation, refund, or consumer protection rights that cannot legally be waived.
-
Satisfaction Concerns and Re-Clean Requests
If you are not satisfied with a completed service, please contact us promptly so we can review the issue.- You agree to notify us of any service concern within 48 hours of completion unless a different period is stated in writing.
- We may ask for photos, videos, details, or access to inspect the concern.
- If we determine that an area was reasonably missed or not completed to the agreed scope, our usual remedy is to re-clean the affected area where practical.
- We are not required to provide a refund or re-clean for issues caused by weather after service, new dirt or debris, condensation, damaged glass, failed seals, inaccessible windows, pre-existing stains, mineral damage, scratches, construction defects, or work outside the agreed scope.
-
Damage, Claims, and Liability
You agree to notify us promptly of any alleged damage or claim related to our services.- Any damage claim must be reported within 48 hours of service completion unless a longer period is required by law.
- You agree to provide reasonable evidence of the claim, including photos, videos, receipts, repair estimates, and access for inspection.
- We are not responsible for pre-existing damage, normal wear and tear, defective materials, failed seals, loose frames, cracked glass, brittle screens, damaged tracks, unstable fixtures, weak caulking, worn coatings, damaged tint, hidden defects, or items that were not moved away from work areas.
- We are not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages, including lost profits, lost rent, lost business, loss of use, emotional distress, delay, inconvenience, or third-party claims, except where such limitation is not permitted by law.
- To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to a service is limited to the amount you paid us for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
- Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
-
Photos, Videos, Reviews, and Service Records
We may take photos, videos, notes, measurements, or other records before, during, or after service for quoting, quality control, training, safety, dispute resolution, proof of completion, marketing, insurance, or recordkeeping purposes.- We will make reasonable efforts not to include sensitive personal information in marketing materials without permission.
- If you submit reviews, testimonials, comments, photos, videos, or feedback to us, you grant us permission to use, reproduce, display, edit, and share that content for business, marketing, quality control, and customer service purposes.
